Mytholmroyd Station Spring Clean
Snow stopped Play - the Annual Hebden Royd Spring Clean was postponed for a few weeks but what a difference the sunshine has made.
Station Secretary, Sue Mitchell thanking the youngest Spring Clean volunteers (l to r) Francesca Cox, Isobel Cox and Tom Andrews. Not only some pop to enjoy for all their hard work, but there might be a trip to Blackpool on a Northern Rail train!
Nearly thirty station volunteers from the Mytholmroyd Station Partnership - of all ages (4 to 74) made a magnificent improvement to the village railway station and surrounding area.
We all appreciated the signs of Spring - the flower tubs and beds looked well – really spring-like in the warm sunlight.
What a super initiative it is of the local Town Council to encourage this community effort to improve the wonderful area we live in.
