EASTER 2004 - ST MICHAEL'S CHURCH

Flower Festival

Our village of Mytholmroyd is undergoing rapid changes at the moment with new housing appearing all around, the new surgery under construction, the Royal Oak being renovated and the old station waiting for final permission for the Ted Hughes Centre to come to fruition but despite all of this, the focal point of the village will always be the beautiful Church of St. Michael which was built in the first half of the 19th century.

Easter is the most special of times in the Church Calendar and St. Michael's Church, with its magnificent interior of mosaics and stained glass, portrayed this with its beautiful display of flowers during the Easter period.

Flower Festival

Mytholmroyd has produced many talented people in the past and the beauty displayed in floral art during the past few days shows that we still have many talented people living here.

Thank you
