Mytholmroyd Poet Tony Langham and Storyteller Pete Keal formed Royd Wordsmiths last year. During this year's Hebden Bridge Arts Festival Royd Wordsmiths will be performing at the Good Shepherd Church, New Road, Mytholmroyd on Thursday 3 July at 8pm.

We are also organising a tour to schools and community groups in Mytholmroyd, Midgley and Cragg Vale in September - Mytholmroyd Gala month.
Between 1 and 28 September 2003 Tony and Pete are available locally for a social or fund-raising event with a difference for family or adult audiences. For these shows only, we are willing to perform for no fee.
Tony Langham has had poetry published in a wide range of anthologies and has published his own book of poems "Apocalypse Soup". A former teacher, Tony regularly performs his work and runs poetry workshops.
Pete Keal has been working as a storyteller since 1991. He tells traditional Folk Tales, Legends, Trickster Tales, Myths, Wonder Tales and Lies from many countries and cultures in schools, libraries, museums and at festivals.
